Sing
I play with words for a living and I paint and sing to live.
I'm a translator/transcreator whose native language is Korean. I enjoy rewriting songs into Korean. That means I don't just translate well-known songs but I interpret them in my own ways and sing in Korean.
It is the language I use to think and it is inevitable that I have more trouble expressing my soul in a foreign language. I write in English here as I think it would be more polite to more people. This is something I try for the first time and I'm not sure how long this will go on. I might suddenly speak and write in Korean like mad at some point.
This is what I have done for the last 2 and a half years. I wrote some of the songs and I rewrote/transcreated many songs - American, French, German, Spanish, Swedish, Italian and the like.
I'm not sure if I can upload them on YouTube as my knowledge in copyright is quite limited. So I will leave them there. I might sing my songs again sometime in the future. The thought that I have to video myself singing is dreadful though.
I wonder how so many people do it without hesitation...
